Olympia Fitness Center has run out of Cherpulassery since 2005 — long enough to see students through their first class, their first sparring session, and for some, their first competition. What started as a small gym has grown into a full training floor for both barbell conditioning and real martial arts coaching.
The gym is affiliated with several martial arts bodies and built to hold complete beginners and competitive fighters on the same schedule — kids' classes in the afternoon, sparring drills in the evening, and open gym access in between.
It's an inclusive programme by design: whatever your starting ability, there's a track here for you to progress at your own pace, for as long as you want to keep training.

Building a training floor broad enough that a student never has to leave to learn a new discipline.
Coaching that pushes every student — beginner or competitive — a little further than they thought they could go.
Technique is only half of it — composure, discipline and self-control are trained just as deliberately.
Three coaches, one training floor — between them covering every discipline Olympia teaches, from first class to competition prep.

Leads competition preparation across every discipline Olympia teaches, and has guided students from their very first class through to their first tournament.

Brings a hardcore, high-intensity training standard to every session, built around proven Muay Thai and Wushu fundamentals.

Focuses on fluid, efficient movement — technique tuned for real results in the ring, not just effort on the pads.
"Sparring here taught me to read what my opponent was about to do, not just react to it. That's harder to learn than it sounds — and it's paid off far beyond the mat."

"The ground game drills at Olympia are genuinely intense — built around control and takedown timing, not just strength. It shows in how fast you improve."

"What surprised me most was how much of martial arts is about efficient movement and balance, not brute force. The coaching here makes that click quickly."
